About Me
Hi! I’m Tina Wilmott, an executive coach who is passionate about communications. I work with driven PR executives who want to excel in their careers and accomplish major professional goals that align with their values and build on their strengths.
I’ve been in the communications field for more than 17 years directing and implementing national and international public relations programs for high tech start-ups and industry leaders. Additionally, I have conducted countless media training sessions and led messaging workshops for senior management teams.
In addition to providing executive coaching services, I have a day job as corporate communications director for a $100 million software company that delivers technology solutions, marketing programs and media properties that encourage and enable participation in activities and events.
I’ve also served as vice president at Porter Novelli, a global public relations agency, where I worked with a wide variety of consumer technology and enterprise clients. There, I managed large account teams and annual PR budgets in excess of $2 million, and successfully executed national and international communications programs and product launches for industry leaders including Hewlett Packard, QUALCOMM, Novell, Verifone, Iomega and McAfee.
I’ve also held senior level positions at Creative Labs, the world’s leading manufacturer of audio cards, and at agencies including The Terpin Group and McQuerter Group.
I currently serve on the advisory board of Lighthouse Venture Capital Group, a VC firm that partners with and provides start-up capital to early stage technology companies. I’m proud to have received my training at Coach U, the leading global provider of coach training programs, and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
